We are about to complete the organizational process for a Rotary Community Corps (RCC) in Rotary Homes Par 3. In fact, the application for registration with Rotary International is due for signing by DG Edna Sutter.
This came about after the organizational meeting presided over by IPP Reggie Nolido, RCC chair, PE Jun Jun Dayrit and Community Service Dir. Chris Ferareza, with the members of the RCC last November 26 at the multipurpose hall of Rotary Homes Paranaque.
In that meeting, IPP Reggie gave the prospective RCC members a lowdown on RCC, the monthly meeting requirement, and the structure of the meeting. PE Jun Jun spoke on the values formation and livelihood aspects of the RCC program and informed them that GKnomics, which is handling said components, is evaluating their qualifications and that he will be meeting with them again when the evaluation is completed.
To get things moving forward, they conducted the election of their officers. Elected were: Antolin H. Lequigan, president; Emily B. Prudencio, vice-president; Marlene Lequigan, secretary; Arnold R. Villanueva, treasurer; and Dioscoro M. Diola and Eddie Francisco, sergeants-at-arms.
